My Work
During a time of rapid expansion, created training programs to ensure that the founder’s customer service philosophy was delivered in all locations. Created onboarding and education programs to build managers’ skills in coaching and developing others.
Established a monthly program for the company’s leadership to develop management skills and build collaboration within the team. Created and facilitated a 360-degree feedback process.
Led employee focus groups to identify opportunities that supported internal career growth. In an effort to open career pathways for employees, created a broad strategy that included increased training in management development, career planning seminars, and networking events.
My Story
When I joined Aéropostale, Inc., we were a company of 7 stores. During my career there, I was part of the team that opened 1400 new stores, expanded into new markets, launched new brands, and achieved sales of over $2B annually. As the leader of the company's talent development and engagement efforts, I gained extensive experience in all types of programs that impact employees.
I spearheaded the company’s efforts for recognition of workplace culture, leading to being named as one of Fortune magazine’s “100 Best Companies to Work For” and as a “Best Company to Work for in New York”.
